Our first fundraiser and dinner was held in 2019 and was nothing short of amazing.  Over 100 guests enjoyed a special night out to listen to veterans who worked with rescue horses during our pilot year.  Our guests also met and heard from a WWII veteran who served in Gen. Patton's Third Army and is also a champion roper.  We savored a locally-sourced, gourmet dinner, and guests won raffle and auction prizes that included firearms, an African Safari, original artwork and other prizes.  The dinner was held at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Idaho, to honor those who have served and protected our great country.  The evening was filled with veterans who shared their experiences in combat and with horses.

Due to our current societal circumstances, our ability to prepare for and hold the Honor our Veterans Dinner in 2020 was stonewalled.  We are, however, planning to hold another special evening, but it will be scheduled for 2021.  If you would like to donate auction or raffle prizes, or if you can simply volunteer some time to help us organize this event, please contact us.

In 2019, our Guest of Honor was WWII Sgt. Bus Hudson, who served in Gen. Patton's Third Army from 1943 to 1945.

He also raised and trained horses his entire life, winning roping events at rodeos into his 70s.

We are honored to have Bus Hudson,  "The Cowboy in a Soldier's Uniform," and his wife of 68 years, Louise, as our guests of honor at our 2019 dinner.
